Starting Grooming Prices
Dogwalker Ranch uses size-based base pricing. These amounts are starting guidance—not maximums. Final cost depends on your dog’s size, breed and coat type, coat condition, requested service, handling needs and the time required.
Deshedding and extensive coat work
Heavy shedding coats, matting or extensive brushing can require substantially more bathing, drying, coat removal and groomer time. Those appointments may exceed the starting guidance above. The grooming team confirms the appropriate service and final price for the individual dog.
What Helps the Grooming Team
- Share the haircut or coat-maintenance goal clearly
- Mention matting, skin sensitivity or handling concerns before the appointment
- Keep a realistic maintenance schedule for the dog’s coat type
- Confirm current vaccinations and arrival instructions with the front desk
- Call on arrival and wait until staff says the lobby is clear
One client family or dog group enters the lobby at a time to give dogs more space during arrival.
Boarding Bath or Full Groom?
Go-Home Bath
Stays longer than three nights require a go-home bath, charged at the applicable bath rate. It is a boarding bath and is not the same as a full professional groom.
Full Groom During Boarding
A full groom is a separate scheduled service. Normal pickup for a boarding dog receiving a full groom is 3:00 PM–6:00 PM, with no daycare charge added simply because the groom requires that later window.
Need another pickup arrangement?
Different timing may sometimes be coordinated with the front desk in advance. Do not assume an exception until it is confirmed.
Grooming Questions
Why can’t every dog receive one flat grooming price?
The appointment changes with size, breed, coat type, coat condition, matting, requested style and the time and handling the service requires.
Do you groom doodles and poodles?
Yes. Dogwalker Ranch has a specific Doodle & Poodle service category because those coats often require more time and maintenance.
Can I schedule grooming with boarding?
Yes, when grooming availability allows. A full groom is separate from the required go-home bath for boarding stays longer than three nights.
When do I pick up a boarding dog after a full groom?
The normal full-groom pickup window is 3:00 PM–6:00 PM. That grooming timing alone does not create a daycare charge.
